At The Warren Group, we love speaking to our clients to ensure they’re getting the most out of our products and services. Many of the questions we commonly field revolve around how we collect our data, how it’s processed, and what resources we have in place to train new users. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about our data.

How often do you update your data?

Our underlying database is very fluid and ever-changing with the most up-to-date information available. Our database is updated daily, but our online modules are updated weekly over the weekend.

We are looking for Loan Originator data, what is available?

Loan originator data can be acquired as raw data, as static market share reports, or through a subscription to our online Loan Originator Module. Both the reports and module are statistical products, while data transactions are raw that can be purchased, manipulated, and integrated with your database.

What information do you have on Loan Originators?

When available on the public record, we collect a Loan Originator’s name and NMLS #. Meanwhile, on our reports and modules, we include the lender that they are authorized to represent and contact information.

Is data available only for specific states?

We have a long history of being a lead data provider in New England and New York, but we’re happy to announce that we now provide national mortgage data. Check with a data specialist on availability in your specific region.

Can I get training on the online modules?

Yes, you can, our data specialists will set up either an in-person or GoToMeeting to walk you through how to use the module and frequent searches. You can even schedule a training session for your entire team or department.

Where does the data originate?

The Warren Group collects public real estate records from the recorded land recorders offices. For a more detailed description of how we collect data, visit this link.
