Cassidy Norton is a Massachusetts native, a graduate of Bedford High School and currently a resident of Connecticut. She decided when she was 15 she was going to be a newspaper reporter when she grew up, and so went to The College of St. Rose in Albany, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and ran the college newspaper. She then joined Gatehouse Media in 2006 as the reporter for the Belmont Citizen-Herald, where she won several awards from the New England Newspaper & Press Association for her reporting.
She was hired by The Warren Group in 2009 as the foreclosure crisis began to make itself felt in the region and quickly became an expert on all things real estate and finance in the ensuing crash and recovery. After more than a decade with The Warren Group, she is currently the associate publisher, overseeing the editorial, advertising, customer service, and circulation departments and initiatives, and is the company’s media spokesperson. In her spare time, she likes to read, listen to true crime podcasts, and undertake possibly ill-advised DIY projects in her historic farmhouse in Connecticut.
