BOSTON, August 31, 2016 – Although Jason Long is the newest member of The Warren Group this is actually his second stint with the organization. Jason started his professional career at TWG as an account manager in 2007 and was then promoted to events manager in 2010 where he helped plan and execute events by promoting and selecting keynote speakers and panelists as well as interacting with various vendors and sponsors for trade shows and conferences.
Jason started his journey in event marketing at Salve Regina University, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Always a competitor by nature, Jason was an integral part of the varsity hockey team as well as volunteer for the Rhode Island Special Olympics. Teamwork and competition are some of the most valuable skills he took away from those early years as he entered the workforce. Completing his first stint with The Warren Group, Jason would now serve as a marketing manager at IDG World Expo. As a marketing manager, Jason worked with all functions of the business to accurately execute IDG’s marketing campaigns.
Now back where it all began, Jason is looking forward to using his expertise to manage The Warren Group sales staff, create revenue and overall help grow the business media division. During his personal time, Jason enjoys playing and watching hockey, biking, and weightlifting. Jason currently resides in South Boston and is looking forward to his newest chapter alongside some familiar faces.
